Iota is about the big and small ideas being equal, and the outcome being a better world. Iota Impact provides independent evaluation consulting services of programs and services in the health and community sector. Iota also works with organisations to design and facilitate co-design workshops, build their capacity for success through training in co-design, evaluation, and outcomes measurement.

We are a diverse team of public health professionals with over 20 years’ experience in academic research, in clinical and not-for-profit leadership and service delivery roles. Iota is passionate about people and believe that if we want to support more people, we must bring them into the room and listen. It is only then we can deliver what they need and create big and lasting impact.

Our team has expertise working with organisations and whole communities in metropolitan, rural and remote Australia, with expertise in Indigenous health and mental health.

Our experience equips us with drive, skills and a deeply held passion to help organisations tackle complex and challenging problems. Iota’s collaborative, creative approach is flexible and responsive, and is energised by the different perspectives brought by multiple voices.

Geographical spread or limits:

Based in Sydney, but with a willingness to travel to regional and remote parts of Australia.

Impact Measurement & Evaluation

• Support organisations to create/ implement impact measurement, and monitoring and evaluation frameworks
• Conduct independent evaluations

I balance a robust academic approach with a realistic understanding of the complexities of delivering services to communities that are often vulnerable and diverse populations.

Co-design & Facilitation

• Design and facilitate co-design workshops, working with the organisation and people with lived experience
• Facilitate roundtables & symposiums

I think and work collaboratively and strategically, using tried and tested best practice methodologies, to help organisations find a way forward to improve people’s lives.

Capacity Building & Training

Interactive and participatory workshops (face-to-face, online or hybrid) in:

• Program logic models and theory of change
• Outcome measurement framework, including survey design
• How to best work with community and people with lived experience to achieve impact
