NCOSS Policy Platform 2023: Working together for a fairer NSW
The upcoming election is a real opportunity to work towards a NSW where everyone can access the basics, the resources and supports they need to lead a decent life. Where thriving kids, and resilient families can cope with life’s ups and downs, safe supportive communities, and a strong economy that everyone can participate in.
Through consultation and a rigorous research agenda, NCOSS has developed a policy platform that sets out how the next NSW Parliament and social service sector can work together to achieve a fairer NSW.
Over the next few months, NCOSS, along with other organisations, will be hosting activities and events to push election asks. Keep an eye out for these on our events page.
Purpose
The purpose of this toolkit is to support you to advocate NCOSS’ policy platform, whether you are supporting it in full or just certain recommendations relevant to your organisations own positions. It may also be used to support your own policy platform. It builds on NCOSS’ General Advocacy Toolkit for influencing decision-making.
