Provide workplace critical incident response when requested.

Participate in the treatment and management of both general and complex conditions.

Demonstrate the ability to solve clinical and non-clinical issues in daily work.

Deliver mental health and suicide prevention training to groups of people.

Work independently within a multidisciplinary team.

Supported with ongoing professional development and training.

Early morning mental health training when requested.

Occasional travel to regional areas as required.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s and/or Master’s degree in Psychotherapy and Counselling, or Psychology, or a related field.

Essential Criteria

Proven experience in providing counselling services for 12 months or longer.

Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Empathetic and non-judgemental approach to counselling.

Ability in maintaining strong boundaries, confidentiality and ethical standards.

Show flexibility by working in different settings, including community and clinical environments.

Engage in professional development activities and apply new knowledge to diverse clinical situations.

Exhibit confidence in clinical reasoning skills across a wide range of cases.

Collaborate with multiple stakeholders regarding client care.

Desirable Criteria

Show a passion for continuous learning and growth in both clinical and non-clinical settings.

Possess strong written and verbal communication skills.

Be capable of working independently as well as being a team player.

Be confident in your role while remaining open to feedback.

Hold current PACFA, ACA, AHPRA or relevant industry body registration.

Have a valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle.

Current First Aid (or willing to obtain).

Current Working with Children Check (WWCC) and National Police Check.
