Counsellor - 35 hrs per week
The Gender Centre Inc is a specialist state wide Government funded Not-For-Profit organisation providing specialist services to the Transgender and Gender questioning community and their families of NSW.
The Gender Centre provides services across four domains
- Health
- Homelessness
- Psychosocial support
- Education
We are looking for an experienced, motivated and dedicated Counsellor to join a multy-disciplinary, dedicated team based in our Marrickville office to provide counselling to transgender, gender questioning and gender diverse adults, young people and their families using approaches that are flexible and appropriate.
To be successful you must have tertiary qualifications in counselling, psychology, social work or an equivalent as well as current registration with an affiliated Peak Body PACFA or ACA
| Hours of employment: | 35 hours per week with preparedness to work some extra/additional hours in order to accommodate community/inter-agency events, staff meetings and client needs. |
| Award: | Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award Community Services Worker |
| Salary: | SACS level 5 Pay Point 1 as per award per hour + superannuation and salary packaging. |
