Service Manager
Our client, Volunteering Coffs Harbour Inc, is seeking a full-time, permanent, Service Manager, to join their dedicated team in Coffs Harbour NSW!

What’s on offer?
- Start Date: Will consider 1-2 weeks’ notice period
- Hours: 38 hours per week, Monday – Friday
- Salary: Approximately $115,000 per annum plus superannuation, depending on qualifications and experience. Salary sacrifice packaging available.
- Additional: Please note that the Service Manager will be required to use their own vehicle for work purposes, with a reimbursement per kilometer payable, in line with the award.
Purpose of the role:
The purpose of this role is to provide leadership and management support to the Neighbourhood Centre, Volunteering services and other related projects. The position will also actively seek additional funding and investment to grow the business.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Manage team members, to ensure team objectives, and our funding contractual requirements are fully met.
- Have extensive working knowledge of the community sector industry standards and practices.
- Demonstrated success in grants writing and securing additional funding to expand the service.
- Offer exemplary customer service, including maintaining stakeholder relationships and ensuring the organisation is well represented at professional and public forums.
- Be able to respond professionally and promptly to any customer concerns or complaints.
- Regularly audits work being done and customer service being provided to ensure all standards are met, that all contracts and agreements are acquitted and that any required changes are carried out effectively.

- Certificate or degree in either Welfare, Community Development, or related fields.
- Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Police Check.
- Working With Children Check.
Essential Criteria
Mandatory Requirements:
- Certificate or degree in either Welfare, Community Development, or related fields.
- Previous Community Service experience and comprehensive knowledge of the Community Service Sector.
- Management Experience.
- Experience in Grants writing and successfully securing funding.
- Experience in financial management, particularly around developing budgets, negotiating funding agreements.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and data collection and reporting.
- Committed to providing exceptional customer service.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, varying communication style depending upon the audience.
- Willingness to assist and support others as required and get on with team members.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- Exceptional organisational and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Drivers Licence and reliable vehicle.
- Police Check.
- Working With Children Check.
- Comprehensive Car Insurance.
