WHOS Gunyah Men’s Program is looking for enthusiastic and motivated people for two full-time AOD Community Service Worker roles based at Lilyfield NSW. Through this role you will be able to provide:
a) AOD assessment, referral, and education,
b) supervision and support to clients in a residential setting,
c) a structured daily program,
d) therapeutic interventions
TO BE CONSIDERED APPLICANTS MUST RESPOND TO THE FOLLOWING SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Certificate IV or higher in AOD, Community Services, Mental Health or related field
- Ability to work with clients that have AOD and associated conditions
- Knowledge of the AOD sector
- Ability to work a rotating roster inclusive of day, evening and weekend shifts
- Ability to facilitate groups
- Ability to work within a residential treatment service
- Understanding of harm minimisation strategies
- Unrestricted driving license

Remuneration:
- Remuneration is in accordance with the SCHADSI Award.
- Salary packaging is available
