WHOS Newcastle Day Program provides evidence based, trauma informed, compassionate and inclusive services to people experiencing issues related to their use of AOD.
Are you an experienced, enthusiastic and motivated person looking to further your career by joining our dynamic and innovative AOD Day Program, conveniently located in the CBD area of Newcastle NSW.
If so, you will need to be experienced in:
- assessment and referral services
- case management, one to one support and groupwork
- providing AOD information and education
- building rapport with clients
Selection Criteria:
- Qualifications in AOD, Human Services, Community Services, or related fields
- Experience within the AOD, mental health or other human service sectors
- Knowledge of AOD Harm Reduction approaches
- Current First Aid Certificate
- Current driver’s license
Remuneration:
SCHADSI Award Level 4, Pay Point based on qualifications and experience.
