What’s Client Liaison you say?

You’ll be a part of the Client Liaison team, which provides general reception and first point of contact services to clients, staff and visitors, including maintaining appropriate records and statistics.

Ok, so what’s the role?

As a Client Services Officer (Front of House), you’ll play a vital role in creating a safe, inclusive and professional first point of contact for clients, visitors and staff. Working closely with the Team Leader, you’ll support the smooth day to day operations of our Front of House—managing client referrals, appointments and bookings while delivering warm, responsive, and high-quality service.

Who are we looking for?

This role suits someone who thrives in a people-focused environment, enjoys balancing various administrative tasks and is passionate about community health and inclusion. You’ll liaise with diverse teams across the organisation, maintain accurate records and data, contribute to service improvement and uphold the highest standards of professionalism, confidentiality and cultural respect. If you value teamwork, diversity and making a meaningful difference every day, this is a great opportunity to be part of ACON’s mission and community.

We are looking for someone who has:

  • Understanding of and commitment to ACON’s communities, particularly people living with HIV/AIDS.
  • Experience and/or demonstrated capacity in reception and general office administration, including good computer literacy.
  • Polite, responsive, and professional interpersonal style.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including conflict resolution.
  • Demonstrated ability to work cooperatively as part of a team.
  • Demonstrated ability to be flexible, responsive, and organised including the ability to manage multiple tasks successfully.
  • Demonstrated telephony skills.
