The 2023 NCOSS AGM will take place on Friday, 24 November 2023 from 10:00am-12:00pm in the Blue Gum Hall at Yirranma Place on Gadigal Country, 262 Liverpool Street, Darlinghurst 2010, and by livestream via this link.

This year, we've partnering with Tribal Warrior and the Strathfield Rotary Club who’ll be coming along to talk about their new Work Fit program after the formal business of the meeting. Work Fit targets First Nations people who are leaving correctional centres and who need to find work or who live communities where there are high levels of Indigenous unemployment and people are struggling to break into the job market for the first time.

Work Fit is a truly ground-up, community-led initiative. In solidarity with First Nations-led organisations – who are doing the heavy lifting to close the gap on the ground – NCOSS is donating $5,000 to support the delivery of Work Fit and we're asking all NCOSS members, supporters and friends to kick in what they can.

We’ll match donations made before our AGM on a dollar-for-dollar basis to a total of a further $5,000.

To make a donation, simply visit the Tribal Warrior site, and then email us your receipt, making it clear this donation is for “Work Fit.” Don’t forget, donations $2 or more are tax deductible!

We’re looking to line up an Indigenous dance performance and then light refreshments will then be served for those who can be there in-person. We’d love to see you at the AGM!
