NCOSS has submitted its Pre-Budget Submission for the 2026-27 NSW Budget.

This year we’ve focused on three key areas which could ensure the 26/27 NSW Budget responds to the needs of community, enhances wellbeing and boosts economic outcomes.

The three areas focus on:

  1. Prevention, early intervention and addressing root causes of inequality.
  2. Housing and wellbeing supports for people living in poverty and disadvantage.
  3. The viability and resilience of the social sector, which provides essential services to the community.

In December, NCOSS shared its draft submission with members. In addition, we developed a Pre-Budget Submission Fact Sheet. Both documents can be found linked on the right.

Timeline:

  • December 2025 – Pre-Budget Submission submitted.
  • Jan-March 2026 – NCOSS will meet with key Ministers and their offices.
  • June 2026 – NSW Budget will be released.
  • June-July 2026 – NCOSS will host its Post-Budget Breakfast.
