Storms & Severe Weather
If your service or community has been impacted by more recent storms and severe weather, government support may be available for your LGA.See the NSW Government’s Disaster Declarations and Storm Recovery pages for more information.
NSW East Coast Severe Weather from 18 May 2025
Changes have been made to the AGRN1212 Home Repair Grant. This grant is available in LGAs impacted by severe weather in May:
- Acceptance of applications has been extended to 2 February 2026 with the annual household income threshold increased to $120,000.00.
- Residents whose Home Repair Grant application was declined based on income can contact the Housing Recovery Service on 1800 695 043 to request a reassessment of their application.
