Detour House Inc provides accommodation and care to women and girls in Sydney’s inner-west through two services: Detour House and The Girls Refuge. Through these services, Detour House Inc provides a trauma-informed safe place to stay and gain greater stability in their lives. Our services are specialist homelessness services, focused on reducing the incidence of homelessness experienced by women and girls.

Detour House - Housing Support Worker – 22.5 hours per week

The Housing Support Worker will focus on seeking and securing long term housing options for clients exiting the AOD residential program and delivering case management support for clients.

Detour House - Outreach Worker Position - 30 hours per week

The Outreach Worker position will focus on delivering holistic trauma-informed and client-centred case management and outreach support for clients in the transitional program and community.

The Girls Refuge - Youth Worker – casual

Casual youth workers are employed to supervise and support girls staying at our short-term refuge. Youth Workers support the case managers to progress case plans, deliver programs and activities and provide trauma-informed care.
