Homelessness Caseworker (21 Hrs per week)
The Gender Centre Inc: is a specialist state wide Government funded Not-For-Profit organisation providing specialist services to the Transgender and Gender questioning community and their families of NSW.
The Gender Centre provides services across four domains
- Health
- Homelessness
- Psychosocial support
- Education
We're looking for an experienced, motivated and dedicated caseworker to provide high quality case management services to clients who are homeless or in housing crisis with relevant tertiary qualifications in community services either a Certificate 4 in Community Welfare and or Social Work qualifications with a minimum of 2 years’ experience working in the community housing welfare sector to be part of our Homelessness team.
Hours of employment
21 hours per week flexible hours within a 5 day week or 7 hours over three days with preparedness to work some extra/additional hours in order to accommodate community/inter-agency events, staff meetings and client needs.
Award:
Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Award Community Services Worker
Salary:
SACS level 2 Pay Point 1 as per award $33.41 per hour + superannuation and salary packaging.
