Social and Affordable Housing Innovations: People First
There is no single solution to the social and affordable housing crisis; instead multiple approaches need to be trialed and evaluated, and we need to be open to the possibility that new solutions we haven’t yet considered may emerge in the coming years.
NCOSS welcomes the NSW Government’s flexible and innovative strategy to addressing the social housing crisis in NSW. The variety of programs and approaches contained in Future Directions has the potential to markedly improve the lives of people in need of social and affordable housing. The time to act is now and it is only with a long term, bi-partisan commitment to solving the social and affordable housing crisis that people will find the homes they deserve.
