Changes at NCOSS

Members may be aware that NCOSS has recently made changes to its organisational structure.

This is due to a loss of our core funding associated with the impending closure of the Department of Ageing, Disability and Home Care (ADHC).

While our new structure will see our policy and sector development teams become leaner than they have been, these teams are not going anywhere and we are more motivated than ever to achieve outcomes together. Our regional consultations are full steam ahead and we look forward to connecting with your community on our travels. 

We were incredibly pleased by the NSW Government’s recent announcement of a two year funding extension for disability advocacy, information and representation organisations affected by the ADHC closure. However, NCOSS were not included in that extension of funding as, rightly so, the extensions focus on those services working directly with people with disability.
