Finding the governance "sweet spot"

From blind-spots to sweet spot, a new report on good governance supported by the Australian Institute of Company Directors (AICD) looks at what is required to achieve effective governance.  It reflects the perspectives of 100 chairs from government, listed, private and not-for-profit boards. The results suggest that better decision making was exhibited when the organisation’s governing team displayed diversity of experience, independence of mind and openness to alternatives.
