Alternative governance models

Authorities Online have produced a number of blogs and developed a series of white papers on effective governance.  Their most recent white paper,  Why empowerment has never been more important, argues that traditional governance models of command and control are no longer effective. They believe there is a need to empower employees to make decisions autonomously and note six factors that are essential to support this process.
