To tell the whole story of how Australian society is faring there is agreement that more than financial measures need to be considered particularly if we want to go beyond material needs.  Australia’s Social Pulse builds on existing Australian social statistics and aims to provide a cohesive, consistent and reliable source that tracks our social progress to enable us to determine if we are improving social outcomes, addressing complex social problems and strengthening society.
