Can big data and privacy co-exist respectfully?
Service management and impact measurement both require the collection of a significant amount of personal data. If you are government funded there is likely to be a requirement to provide access to the funder to some if not all of it. This raises the issue of privacy. The give and take of public privacy in the big data era looks at the potential disconnect between an individual's privacy and the potential to use this data to develop valuable insights and new investigative tools.
