NSW Charter for Public Participation

The OECD describes open government as, “The transparency of government actions, the accessibility of government services and information, and the responsiveness of government to new ideas, demands and needs”. Public participation is integral to Open Government. The NSW Information Commissioner has released Towards a NSW Charter for Public Participation on how public participation and open government can be achieved in NSW.
