Head of Transport for NSW speaks to NCOSS Transport Policy Advisory Group (TPAG)

After having the Minister for Transport, the Hon Andrew Constance MP, come to speak with TPAG members in November last year, for its February meeting were pleased to have the Secretary of Transport for NSW, Mr Tim Reardon, come along.

Mr Reardon kindly gave 90 minutes of his time to listen and respond to queries and concerns put forward by members of the group.  A range of issues were put forward and discussed, including changes to the Opal Gold card for seniors, changes to bus routes and the Taxi Transport Subsidy Scheme.

For TPAG’s May meeting, we’re looking to secure a speaker to focus on broader issues in the transport space, such as innovative new approaches to funding transport infrastructure.
