The NCOSS Pre-Budget Submission 2018/19 - No Poverty: A roadmap for a fair NSW is the outcome of extensive work across metro and regional NSW. This year, we held six conferences, two additional consultations and ran a total of 38 workshops, speaking to approximately 570 people across the state. We conducted a deeper conversation in policy priority areas to gain insight into regional challenges and solutions. We have also spoken directly to individuals and families doing it tough in households living below the poverty line.

Thank you to everyone who came along to our Regional Conferences this year, and to each of you who helped inform our PBS.

We’ve pulled together what we heard from across the state into a set of 7 recommendations for the NSW Government. These recommendations chart a roadmap to build a more equal society and reduce poverty and disadvantage.
