Workforce Issues in the NSW Community Sector Survey

We know there are workforce issues facing our sector and our staff but there is little solid research on what is actually happening.

NCOSS in partnership with Homelessness NSW, Yfoundations and Domestic Violence NSW has commissioned SPRC at the University of New South Wales to ask specific questions on the issues impacting on our workforce.

You will have received the survey by email from SPRC.

As a group we would like to know more about the impact of funding and reform on staffing, casualisation of the sector, the level of support and development available in our organisations, the issues around attraction and retention of staff. We will use this information to support and build our Sector’s workforce.

The survey will take around 20-25 minutes. It should be completed by the person who is best placed to answer questions about workforce issues in your organisations, for example the CEO, Executive Director, or HR Manager. Only one survey is to be completed per organisation. 

Every organisation counts! Please keep an eye out for the survey on Monday - it is an important opportunity to build an accurate picture of workforce issues in the NSW community sector. This will inform sector development, planning and advocacy. If you would like to participate please complete the survey by Wednesday 22nd of February 2017.
