The value of Australian impact investments

Impact Investing Australia has released its first Benchmarking Impact Report analysing impact investing activity and performance data for a data-set of 15 Australian impact investments active valued at $1.2 billion.  It is the first set of aggregated, market-based data on the performance of Australian impact investment products. It reveals past activity and provides insights about the choices, frameworks and practice being applied and to what effect.  It shows a steady increase in the number of investments with the majority being debt finance to social enterprises.   

The Centre for Social Impact and SPRC has also completed an evaluation of Australian Social Enterprise Development and Investment Funds.
