Next stage of Productivity Commission Inquiry into the reform of Human Services

The Commission has released the Issues Paper as part of the second stage of the inquiry into the increased application of competition, contestability and informed user choice to human services with submissions closing on 10 February 2017.

The second stage will consider options they believe will improve the effectiveness of human services and help ensure all Australians can access timely, affordable and high quality services.   The areas the paper covers include social housing, end‑of‑life care, public dental services, commissioning family and community services and human services in remote Indigenous communities.
