Heatwaves, natural disasters and their impact

Insurance companies unsurprisingly  have been very active in following the impact of natural disasters.  IAG's report (At what cost?) however is the first to make the link between natural perils risk, economic activity and the ability of communities to cope.  They have also developed an interactive map.  We’ve learned a lot about heatwaves, but we’re still just warming up discusses not only the impact but also the potential cost.
