Markets, regulation and the NFP sector

Lucas Ryan is a not- for-profit policy advisor at the Australian Institute of Company Directors.  His article NFPs in the Market, explores not-for-profit (NFP) regulation and makes the point that not all regulation is useful.  Just because it is appropriate and useful in the for-profit does not immediately justify its use in the NFP sector and may actually undermine its capacity to respond to community need.
