ACNC topped 2016 Australian Public Service Innovation Awards

The Australian Charities and Not-for-profits Commission was number 1 in the digital transformation category at the APS Innovation Awards for the charity portal which is estimated to have saved $18m in deregulation savings.

Krystian Seibert notes this success in his article ACNC: the facilitative regulator.  He points out however that whilst its birth was difficult, it was a product of constructive cross-sectoral collaboration between government and the NFP sector and beyond.
