The issues paper for the Productivity Commission Inquiry into Human Services:  Identifying sectors for reform has been released. The Commission wants to identify services within the human services sector that are best suited to the introduction of greater competition, contestability and user choice.

The website notes that respondents are not required to restrict themselves to the questions in the issues paper. They are happy to receive information and comment on issues that are relevant to the inquiry’s terms of reference.

Submissions are due by 25 July 2016.
