IPTAAS changes mean increased access to travel assistance for specialised Allied Health Treatment
People in rural and remote areas will have greater access to a selection of highly specialised allied health clinics due to changes to the Isolated Patients Travel and Accommodation Assistance Scheme (IPTAAS).
With travel and accommodation costs to attend these clinics now being claimable, barriers to accessing clinics that only operate in limited locations are being reduced. Eligibility for this assistance through IPTAAS is dependent on treatment being provided by one of the clinics listed on the Health Share website. You can access more information about IPTAAS and the list of clinics by visiting the website.
