To merge or not-to-merge

An article from September, by Lina Caneva, is worthy of attention within the current debates about mergers as a necessary direction to rationalise the not-for-profit sector. Lina’s article Merging Not the Only Option for NFPs suggests that a viable alternative to mergers is the formation of enterprise cooperatives, citing the example of the Greater Western Sydney Community Transport Cooperative.
